The process of real estate speculation and verticalization of large urban centers makes the landscape of our cities more and more crowded with buildings. But that isn’t necessarily a problem. If the spaciousness and relative freedom of a house can be inviting for a large family, the safety and practicality of an apartment mustn’t be discarded too easily.
Nowadays, life is becoming more and more rushed. The multi-tasks we have to perform limit our time and can destroy our well-being if not carefully managed. Therefore, there’s nothing better than living in a place that’s relatively smaller, is well situated, and has easy transportation. All of this will save you time and money.
Daily life in a big city can also be dangerous. Unfortunately, reports of house break-ins aren’t rare in our newspapers. In times like these, having doormen on duty 24 hours a day, checking on everyone who comes and goes, is certainly a valuable asset for security. An apartment, in this respect, can be the perfect dwelling for those who wish to sleep peacefully at night.
Much is said about the difficult coexistence with neighbors. The fact, though, is that there are many older buildings in the country’s main cities. In these buildings, the thick walls – thanks to the masonry of older times – while not eliminating the problems, certainly reduces them, as the acoustic isolation of these structures is quite efficient.

Most of the newer apartment buildings offer a great variety of recreational appliances – some buildings even have a gym, which means a reduction in your budget, saving the money you spend on crossfit or bodybuilding. If there are children in your family, these areas enable their conviviality with other children in the building, protected by cameras and security guards.
Therefore, we understand that the freedom of a house – and its spaciousness – might be truly irreplaceable. However, exchanging your house for an apartment doesn’t imply a deterioration of your quality of life. Much to the contrary. If people say that life begins at 40, we can also say that it becomes much more interesting in an apartment. Why not give it a try?
