Logistics is one of the most challenging work. FINK has several challenging moments in its centennial history that make us proud and form our identity. Among them is a daring project – the transplantation of five imperial palms from the roof of a building in the neighborhood of São Conrado, in Rio de Janeiro, to nature.
For this dream to become reality, a true war tactic was needed: from an extensive logistics team, transport trucks that would accommodate the leafy plants to their new home. Its displacement from the roof to the ground was done by hoisting, supervised by a botanist that guaranteed the survival of the palm trees throughout the process.
Finally, after two days of intense work, the palm trees were finally moved to a farm in the municipality of Maricá. However, there was great concern about the adaptation of plants to their new home. Therefore, all the planting work was done with care and guidance of the scientist, which ensured total adaptation, without any rejection of the five palm trees.
These great and challenging projects are what define the vision of a company and mark the history of FINK as a reference in the global logistics industry.
