Gramado-RS: get to know the natural and artificial beauties of the South of the country

The Serra Gaúcha is one of the most popular destinations for Brazilian tourists. Among the places that stand out most are Gramado, whether for the charm of its architecture, for its great cuisine and, mainly, for its breathtaking landscapes. If you are looking for leisure, but with great comfort, the city of Rio Grande do Sul, which is about 120 km from Porto Alegre, is a great bet, also because it has more than 11 thousand beds in hotels.

One of the main tips is to bet on the city tour in a panoramic bus. Through the vehicle, visitors can visit the city’s traditional sights, such as São Pedro Church, Clock Church and Coberta Street, famous for cafes, restaurants, chocolate shops and souvenirs. The Palais des Festivals, home of the Gramado Film Festival, is an obligatory stop for movie fans. It is in him that can pose for photos next to a huge golden Kikito, replica of the award granted to the artists.

Lake Negro, another Gramado postcard, features pedal boats, and is a great attraction for passionate couples. And who wants to venture for a picnic, the request is Lake Joaquina Rita Bier. Still outdoors, the city also has the beautiful Le Jardin Lavender Park, European-inspired.

But it is not only natural landscapes live the city of Rio Grande do Sul. Gramado has a large number of museums that play with the universe of music and American cinema. Dreamland, for example, features celebrity wax figures such as singer Madonna and actor Johnny Depp. Fans of motorcycles and vintage cars should get to know Hollywood Dream Cars. In the museum are exposed real car relics from the 1920s to the 1960s. And if you are looking for fun for the whole family, including the little ones, there is the Mini World and Snowland, the first indoor snow park in Latin America.

To close the leisure options, nothing better than to delight in the gastronomic culture that the city offers. There are many possibilities, from the colonial cafes, to the fondues, barbecues and, of course, the famous chocolates of the region. For those who want to know the maximum of tourist attractions, it is recommended to use a car or a taxi. For those who like to enjoy the city with calm, nothing better than walking. Just do not forget the coat.
