During vacation, the 40 hours can be weekly. It is worth noting that, to enjoy this right, the course must be longer than 14 weeks, and in an accredited institution.
Ireland One of the most popular destinations for student exchange, where exchange students are allowed to work 20 hours a week. This goes up to 40 hours a week if the vacation period coincides with the European summer.
Canada One of the best places in the world to live, this North American country offers the same conditions as Ireland. However, to enjoy this right, being in a language course is not enough – the course must be professionalizing.
United States The most famous destination must not be left out. Student visas there vary according to the type and length of the course. All of them offer a range of possibilities, such as Au Pair programs, traineeships, and voluntary and vacation work.
New Zealand It offers conditions similar to Australia’s. There are, however, two types of student visas. The first type is for a study period of up to 3 months, and needn’t be applied for in advance. It can be obtained while already in the country. On the other hand, if the study period exceeds 3 months, the visa must be requested online, before embarkation. If the course takes over 12 months, a full-time work schedule is allowed.
